Westbound & Eastbound US 61 (Airline Dr) from Little Farms Ave (LA 3155) to Williams Blvd (LA 49) in Metairie/Kenner; alternating lane closures with at least one lane to remain open from Sunday, July 22nd, to Saturday July 28th, from 8:00 PM until 5:00 AM each night (ending 5 AM, Sunday morning, July 29th);while crews perform roadway milling and asphalt paving; weather permitting.
Alternate truck route is I-10.
These closures will allow vehicles 11-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction/maintenance site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
