UPDATE: The outside lanes of Albertsons Parkway between US 90 westbound and LA 182 (Main Street) will also be closed the nights of Monday, July 23 to Friday, July 27, from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., weather permitting.

The outside lane of Albertsons Parkway between US 90 westbound and LA 182 (Main Street) will be closed the nights of Monday, July 16 to Saturday, July 21, for roadway construction.

This work is estimated to take place nightly from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

DOTD apologizes for any inconvenience to the traveling public and encourages motorists to lookout for crews and their equipment.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening U.S 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along U.S. 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in summer 2018.
