POSTPONED: LA 511 (Jimmie Davis Hwy) Bridge over Red River in Bossier, Caddo Parishes


UPDATE: The routine bridge inspection for the LA 511 (Jimmie Davis Hwy) Bridge over the Red River in Bossier & Caddo Parishes has been postponed and will be rescheduled. A notification will be issued when the new inspection date has been set.

Original notification:

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 and Thursday, July 19, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. both days, the LA 511 (Jimmie Davis Hwy) Bridge over the Red River in Caddo & Bossier Parishes, approximately 0.7 miles West of US 71, will be reduced to one (1) lane of traffic for routine bridge inspection.

Alternate Route: This closure will allow vehicles 10 feet wide or smaller to pass through the bridge inspection zone. Larger vehicles must detour using LA 1, LA 3032 and US 71

Restrictions/Permits: N/A

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
