UPDATE: RAMP CLOSURES – I-20: Eastbound on ramp at LA 169 in Caddo Parish


UPDATE: The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the nightly and/or extended weekend closures will continue until the end of June, weather permitting, as work on the removal and replacement of this interstate ramp continues.

Original notification:

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Friday, May 4, 2018, there will be intermittent ramp closures for the on ramp from LA 169 to eastbound I-20 in Caddo Parish.

These closures will be nightly and/or extended weekend closures, and are necessary to complete work related to the removal and replacement of the ramp.

Nightly ramp closures will be allowed as follows:

Sunday – Thursday: 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Friday night: 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Saturday night: 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

This phase of construction is anticipated to last approximately 45 days, weather permitting.

Alternate Route: The signed detour route will be along US 80 to Exit 5.

Restrictions/Permits: N/A

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
