There will be alternating single lane closures on I-10 in both directions, between the West Pearl River Bridge and the Pearl River Bridge, beginning on Sunday night, May 20, 2018, through Friday morning, May 25, 2018, between the hours of 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM each night. This is to allow the Contractor to perform milling and asphalt paving operations as well as guardrail removal and replacement.
One lane in each direction will remain open at all times; however, traffic may be slowed as the work progresses. There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access.
Detour
Westbound motorists wishing to avoid any delays on I-10 can exit I-10 at Kiln, MS on Hwy. 603, take MS 603 N to MS 43 N to I-59; take I-59 south to I-12 and proceed westbound.
Eastbound motorists wishing to avoid any delays on I-10 can exit I-10 in Slidell, take US 190 to US 90; take US 90 East to Pearlington, MS; Take MS 604 North to MS 607; take MS 607 south to I-10 and proceed Eastbound.
