LA 1023, from logmile .80 to 3.20, will be closed beginning at 9:00am on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, while crews remove existing timber bridges (2) and replace with metal arch pipe.  The schedule is as follows:  The first bridge will be closed in both directions on 8/20/13 at logmile .80 and this closure will last approximately one week.  Accordingly, when the work on first bridge is complete, the second bridge located at logmile 3.15 will be closed for approximately one week.  These repairs will be completed by September 12, 2013, weather permitting.

To avoid these bridge closures, motorists may take LA 1019 to LA 447 to LA 63.
