Emergency Ramp and Lane Closures I-55 North and South Bound, Mile Post 31, Tangipahoa Parish, Project H.010790
Lane and ramp closures will be in effect on the following dates/locations. These closures are necessary for median and shoulder slope repairs.
Monday, May 7 through Wednesday, May 9 , from 9 am to 2 pm, I-55 South Bound emergency left lane closure at mile post 31 (approaching US 190). The right lane will remain open at all times. Oversize loads are restricted to 12 feet in width.
DETOUR: Motorist can avoid this work zone by using US 51.
Monday, May 7, from 9 am to 12 pm, the I-55 Northbound On-Ramp at US 190 will be closed at milepost 31.
DETOUR: Motorist can avoid this work zone by using US 51. Motorist traveling US 190 with a destination I-55 north bound should travel east to US 51, then north to LA 3234 (W. University Ave.), then west to return to I-55.
