UPDATE: REOPENED – US 84 at the UP Railroad in Red River Parish
UPDATE: The repairs to the railroad track have been completed and US 84 has been reopened.
Original notification:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that US 84 at the Union Pacific railroad tracks in the vicinity of LA 1 in Red River Parish has been closed due to damage to the railroad tracks.
Union Pacific crews are on scene to begin the repairs. DOTD will issue a notification when the roadway has been reopened.

Restrictions/Permits: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
