UPDATE: LA 27 ROAD CLOSURE AT MP 132.2 – DERIDDER - BEAUREGARD PARISH

ROAD WORK IS NOW COMPLETED - LA 27 IS NOW OPEN

See attached map of alternate route.

LA 27 will be closed at the TimberRock Railroad Crossing, located at MP 132.2 (approx. 0.86 miles south of DeRidder) beginning 7:00 AM Monday, April 30, 2018 and ending 5:00 PM Wednesday, May 2, 2018.

The closure is necessary for TimberRock Railroad to perform emergency maintenance/repair work on the crossing.

Motorist will be detoured via US 171 & LA 110 and are encouraged to pursue alternate routes.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone while being on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
