SPEED LIMIT CHANGE – LA 3 from Wemple Road to Burt Blvd. in Bossier Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that a speed limit reduction has been implemented on LA 3 (Benton Road) from its intersection with Wemple Road to just south of its intersection with Burt Boulevard in Bossier Parish.
The speed limit has been changed from 65 mph to 55 mph along this corridor.
The reduction is a result of a traffic study of the LA 3 corridor from Wemple Road to the Town of Benton.
DOTD urges motorists to drive with caution.
