EMERGENCY BRIDGE CLOSURE – LA 1 bridge over Caddo Lake in Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the LA 1 bridge over Caddo Lake in Caddo Parish has been closed until further notice due to emergency repairs that will have to be made to the structure.
DOTD engineers are currently assessing damage to the bridge and once that process is complete, a timeline for repairs may be available.
Alternate Route: Total bridge closure. ALL traffic will be detoured through the Town of Mooringsport via LA 538 to LA 169 to LA 1.
Restrictions/Permits: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
