INTERSTATE CLOSURE – I-220 from LA 1 to LA 173 in Caddo Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on the night of Sunday, April 15, 2018, the eastbound and westbound lanes of I-220 from LA 1 (N. Market St.) to LA 173 (Hilry Huckaby III Ave.) in Caddo Parish will be closed.

The closure is scheduled to take place from 6:00 p.m. on Sunday to 5:00 a.m. on Monday, and is necessary for the installation of barrier rail over I-220, as well as to install decorative panels associated with the I-49 Segment K project.

Alternate Route:

ALL eastbound traffic on I-220 will be detoured off at Exit 5 (LA 173) to LA 3094 (N. Hearne Ave.) to LA 1 (N. Market St.)

ALL westbound traffic on I-220 will be detoured off at Exit 7A (LA 1) to LA 3094 to LA 173

Restrictions/Permits: N/A

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
