LA 431 Curve Realignment, Road Closures

Construction has begun for State Project H.010026, LA 431 Curve Realignment. The project consists of clearing and grubbing, drainage structures, lime treatment, asphalt concrete pavement, and related work in Ascension Parish.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be a road closure with detour @ the intersections of LA 431 & US 61 and LA 431 & LA 429, on Saturday- Sunday April 14th- 15th. Work in this area consists of removal of detour road and placement of permanent asphalt road. Closures will be southbound and northbound directions along LA 431 between US 61 & LA 429. Detours will be in place for motorist to access US 61 via LA 22. Work in this area affecting LA 431 is expected to last approximately two days, weather permitting. No permit or oversize loads along with emergency vehicles will be able to pass.
