LA 397 LANE CLOSURES – LAKE CHARLES - CALCASIEU PARISH
LA 397 will experience temporary lane closures, in both directions of travel, today (April 5, 2018), between 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM.
The closure locations are at the Union Pacific Railroad crossings noted below.
• LA 397 MP 13.57, located approximately 2.9 miles south of US 90, near East Prien Lake Road. (Crossing #432-822E)
• LA 397 MP 16.99, located approximately 0.43 miles south of I-10 (or 0.40 miles north of US 90). (Crossing #767-962J)
The closures are necessary for Union Pacific Railroad to perform emergency maintenance/repair work on the crossings.
Due to the imposed traffic delays, drivers are encouraged to pursue alternate routes.
