The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 121 in Vernon Parish, approximately 1.7 miles south of LA 8 and/or 200 feet south of Walnut Hill Road is now open to all traffic

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public of an upcoming pipe replacement on LA 121 in Vernon Parish, approximately 1.7 miles south of LA 8 and/or 200 feet south of Walnut Hill Road.
The repair will begin at 7:00 am on Friday, March 16, 2018, and is expected to be complete by the end of the day on Friday, March 16, 2018 depending on weather. During the repair, LA 121 will be closed to traffic at the repair site.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway at the construction site will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the pipe replacement.
The detour will be as follows:
LA 121 northbound traffic will travel on LA 28 west to LA 469 north to LA 8 east back to LA 121.
LA 121 southbound traffic will travel on LA 8 west to LA 469 south to LA 28 east back to LA 121.
