*LA 3033 ( CHENIERE DAM RD) IS NOW OPEN AS OF 3:15 PM, APRIL 5, 2018, TO ALL TRAFFIC*
Beginning March 13, 2018 at 6:00 P.M., LA 3033(Cheniere Dam Rd.) from Elkins Rd to Lenwil Rd. will be closed. This closure will be due to expected high water covering roadway travel lanes. This closure will last until high water recedes. This is expected to last 7-10 days according to current river stages.
Detour:
Detour route will be LA 840-1 ( Smith St.), LA 34
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work site and be on the lookout for work crews and equipment. Please do not cross high water.
