UPDATE: The Berwick Bridge on LA 182 over the Atchafalaya River, between LA 182 and Federal Avenue, will be closed on Wednesday, March 21, for routine bridge inspection.

This work is estimated to take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the Berwick Bridge on LA 182 over the Atchafalaya River, between LA 182 and Federal Avenue, will be closed on Monday, March 19, for routine bridge inspection.


This closure is estimated to take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.


The detour route will include US 90.
