St. Mary Parish – Amelia Bridge over Bayou Boeuf on LA 182 at Assumption Parish line – Bridge Closure

Amelia, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that the Amelia Bridge over Bayou Boeuf on LA 182 at the Assumption Parish line will be closed on Thursday, March 8, for routine bridge inspections.

The work is estimated to take place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.

The detour route will include Duhon Boulevard, US 90 and LA 662. Detour signs will be posted.
