Lafayette Parish – I-49 from LA 182 (Carencro) to US 190 Interchange (Opelousas) – Lane Closures

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, February 26 through Saturday, March 31, I-49 from LA 182 in Carencro to US 190 Interchange in Opelousas, there will be temporary lane closures in both northbound and southbound directions for repairs of various elevated bridge structures.
The closures are estimated to take place on Mondays through Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.; Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.; and Sundays from 6:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., weather permitting.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 16-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
