UPDATE: NOW OPEN TO TRAFFIC!

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that effective immediately, LA 3083 (Bayou Alexandre Highway) between LA 352 and Bayou Portage Road will be closed for emergency bridge repairs.

The roadway is anticipated to be reopened by 12 p.m. on Friday, February 23, weather permitting.

The detour will consist of LA 679, LA 96 and LA 352.
