RESCHEDULED - SHOULDER CLOSURES: US 71 (North Market Street) in Caddo Parish


UPDATE: This shoulder closure has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 15, 2018 due to the potential for inclement weather.

Original notification:

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, the northbound shoulder of US 71 (N. Market Street) in Shreveport, Caddo Parish at the I-220 interchange will be closed. This shoulder closure also includes the exit and entrance ramps to I-220.

This lane closure is necessary for the contractor to install traffic signage related to the I-49 Segment K project that is currently under construction. Work is expected to last approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

Alternate Route: N/A

Restrictions/Permits: N/A

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
