Lafayette Parish – Mathews Boulevard at LA 339 (Verot School Road) – Road Closure

Lafayette, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that Mathews Boulevard, at its intersection with LA 339 (Verot School Road) in Lafayette Parish, will be closed to traffic beginning Wednesday, February 14, at 7:00 a.m. until Wednesday, February 28, at 7:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The closure is necessary to allow crews to construct the concrete roadway at this intersection as it relates to the ongoing widening of LA 339 (Verot School Road) project.
The detour route will include Gathright St. and Polly Lane. Detour signs will be posted.
