LA 42 Widening and Improvements, Alternating Lane Closures POSTPONED**

LA 42 Widening and Improvements, Alternating Lane Closures
Construction has begun for State Project H.002370, LA 42 Widening. The project consists of grading, drainage structures, subgrade treatment, drilled shaft foundations, traffic signalization, landscaping, asphalt concrete pavement, portland cement concrete pavement, and related work in Ascension Parish.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be alternating lane closures along LA 42 near Muddy Creek on Tuesday, January 30th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Flaggers will be alternating right of way for each direction of travel. No oversized loads greater than 11’ wide will be allowed through the construction zone during lane closures. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
