This closure of LA 697 between US 167 (Maurice Avenue) & Wilson Road is NOW OPEN! Thank you for your patience during this closure.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that LA 697, between US 167 (Maurice Avenue) and Wilson Road, will be closed immediately, until further notice.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to perform repairs to the bridge.
The detour will include US 167, LA 696, and LA 343.
