OPELOUSAS, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the immediate closure of the eastbound outside lane of US 190 (West Vine Street) at Wartell Avenue, between Veazie Avenue and Lewis Street, 0.35 mile west of LA 749, for an emergency repair.

The roadway is anticipated to be reopened by 6 p.m., weather permitting.
