Both directions LA 18 (Fourth Street) Bridge in Harvey will be closed to both marine and vehicular traffic starting 6:00 am Saturday, December 2, 2017 thru 6:00 pm Sunday, December 3, 2017, to allow the Army Corp of Engineers to work on the fender system under the bridge.
Vehicles can detour the area via the following routes:
-Westbound LA 18 will be detoured to LA 3018 (Destrehan Avenue) to US 90 Bus. (Westbank Expressway) to Manhattan Boulevard
-Eastbound LA 18 will be detoured to LA 3017 (Peters Road) to US 90 Bus. (Westbank Expressway) to LA 45 (Barataria Boulevard)
