Beginning at 7:00am Monday November 27, 2017 until January 1, 2018, the northbound roadway of LA 3235 from West 11th Street to LA 24 in Larose, LA will be closed to northbound traffic. The southbound roadway of LA 3235 from LA 24 to West 11th Street will be reconfigured to accommodate both north and southbound thru traffic.
Northbound traffic on LA 3235 will be required to turn left onto the West 11th Street median crossover and then turn right back onto the LA 3235 southbound roadway, using the inside (median side) lane .
This roadway closure is required in order to allow South Lafourche Levee District (SLLD) contractors to elevate the hurricane protection levee across LA 3235 in Larose.
DOTD and SLLD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
