New Iberia, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that the median crossover of LA 675 (Jefferson Island Road), in between the on and off ramps of US 90 eastbound, will be closed on Monday, November 6, for roadway repairs.

The work is estimated to take place from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.

In order to detour, motorist exiting US 90 eastbound will be forced to turn right, off of the off-ramp at LA 675 and use the median crossover at the south Frontage Road. Southbound LA 675 traffic, attempting to turn left onto the eastbound US 90 on-ramp, will also have to utilize the south Frontage Road Crossover.

Permit loads wishing to turn left from LA 675 southbound to US 90 eastbound may utilize the south Frontage Road and access eastbound US 90 on-ramp at LA 14.
