DOTD announces upcoming highway construction project at LA 329 (LA 14 to Avery Island Road) in Iberia Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, November 6, construction will begin on a $967,000 project to overlay LA 329 (Avery Island Road) in Iberia Parish.

The work is estimated to take place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.

The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.

The project is estimated for completion in January 2018.
