Both directions LA 48 (River Road) between I-310 and Ormond Blvd in Destrehan, a single lane closure with flagging operation and shoulder work from Wednesday, September 20th to Friday, September 22nd from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm daily, while crews perform dirt work, seed and fertilizer and striping.
This closure will allow vehicles 11-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic.
No detour is needed, expect some delays.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
