Freshwater City - LA 3147 - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the pontoon bridge at the Humble Canal may need to be closed to vehicular traffic due to Hurricane Harvey storm surge. This closure is anticipated to take place sometime early Saturday morning. Water levels will be monitored and closure will take place if necessary and will remain closed until water levels recede.
