**ATTENTION**

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 1250 will not be closed on Saturday, August 26, 2017, but will be rescheduled at a later date.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 1250, Pineville, Rapides Parish, will be closed at the Kansas City Southern Railroad track. The work is being done at milepost 0.550 and is on control section 142-01.

The closure will start on Saturday, August 26, 2017, from 7:00AM with a re-opening to traffic the same day at 7:00PM. The closure is for Kansas City Southern Railroad to replace the cross ties thru the crossing.

Permit/Detour Section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time.

Detour Route:
East bound: Melrose St. to Leblanc St. to Greer St to Rembert St. to Expressway Dr then Entrance on Pineville Expressway (US 167/LA 28) to LA 107 Exit to Pine St. to Alexandria Pineville Exp to Wadley St. to Melrose St.

West bound: Melrose St. to Wadley St. to Expressway Dr to Pine St. to Alexandria Pineville Expy then Entrance to Pineville Expressway South to Melrose Street Exit to Leblanc St. to Greer St. to Rembert St. to Expressway Dr to Baptist St. to Melrose St.

The detour can accept oversized loads. The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
