LA 46 at the Bayou La Loutre Bridge (Yscloskey Bridge) will remain closed to all marine traffic thru August 31st while crews perform sand blasting and painting operations on the bridge. A full vehicular closures will be in place on Monday August 21st thru Thursday August 24th during the evenings from 7 PM – 5 AM. The bridge will be open to vehicular traffic during the day.
There are no available alternate routes for vehicular traffic. Government offices have made arrangements to provide emergency response services during the closure.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
