Road will re-open at 4:00 pm today.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public the emergency pipe repair of a failed culvert on LA 1203 (Maryhill Rd) in Rapides Parish will be completed at 4:00 pm today.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public of an upcoming emergency pipe repair of a failed culvert on LA 1203 (Maryhill Rd) in Rapides Parish.

The location will be repaired on Tuesday August 8, 2017 through Thursday August 10, 2017. LA 1203 will be closed to traffic 0.5 miles South of its junction with US 71.

These repairs are scheduled dependent upon favorable weather.

Permit/Detour Section
The roadway will be closed to all traffic at 7:00 AM Tuesday August 8, 2017 and will remained closed until the work is complete.

The detour will be as follows:
Northbound traffic will take US 71 South to US 165 North to US 167 Frontage Road North to LA 1203.
Southbound traffic will take the US 167 Frontage Road to US 165 South to US 71 North to LA 1203.
