UPDATE - ROAD CLOSURE EXTENDED: LA 2 over KCS railroad tracks in Vivian, Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 2 over the KCS railroad tracks in Vivian, Caddo Parish, will remain closed until further notice.
This closure is necessary for KCS Railroad crews continue to conduct follow-up operations and repair related to a train derailment that occurred on July 22, 2017.
DOTD will advise when the roadway is reopened and safe for travel.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
