Both directions LA 48 (River Rd.),between the I-310 and Ormond Blvd in Destrehan, single lane closure with flagging operation and shoulder work on Saturday, July 22nd, from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm and Monday July 24th to Friday July 28th from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm to 6:30 am (recurring daily), ending 3:30pm on Friday July 28th, while work crews preform Drainage, Concrete, Roadway Widening and Asphalt work.
This closure will allow vehicles 12-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic.
No detour is needed, expect some delays.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
