US 190, Livingston Parish, Notice of Upcoming Construction/Lane Closures, S.P. H.009437

US 190, from JCT LA 1031 (Hatchell Lane in Denham Springs) to JCT LA 1029 (Corbin Road in Walker), will be under construction beginning on Friday, June 7, 2013.  This work is expected to be complete in August, 2013.  Please be prepared for possible intermittent delays due to single lane closures with flagging operations.  These lane closures are necessary while crews perform concrete box culvert construction and other related work.  There will be no lane closures during peak traffic times from 6:00am to 9:00am and from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.

This work, including intermittent lane closures, begins on US 190, from JCT LA 447 to JCT LA 1029, in Walker, on Friday, June 7, 2013 and continuing Monday, June 10 – Wednesday, June 12, 2013, daily from 6:00 am – 6:00 pm, weather permitting.

This closure will allow vehicles up to 11 feet wide to pass through the construction zone.  The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles and loads will be under permit restrictions.  To avoid the construction zone, motorists may take LA 447 to I-12 to LA 63 (Livingston) to US 190 as an alternate route.
