I-20, Madison Parish, Lane Closure

Scope of Work
Beginning Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at 8:00 a.m., a lane closure will be required in the eastbound inside lane of Interstate 20 near Mile Marker 160, just east of the Waverly Interchange. Previously, this location contained a roadway deformation that unexpectedly surfaced due to recent high temperatures. At that time, an emergency lane closure was set up, and the deformation was corrected by grinding to regain a smooth, safe travel surface. This new lane closure will allow maintenance crews to perform roadway patching to the location to serve as a more permanent repair method. The lane closure is planned to be removed on Thursday, July 27, 2017.
