The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LA DOTD) is conducting an open house public meeting for the proposed LA 44 corridor from I-10 to LA 22 in Gonzales. Phase 1 proposes a multilane roundabout south of LA 941 (Loosemore Road) and completion of the four-lane section from I-10 to the Conway Plantation roundabout.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide information about the project and to obtain input from interested parties. The proposed conceptual layout of LA 44 from I-10 to LA 22 will be on display. Representatives from LA DOTD will be available at the open house to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project. Oral and written comments on the project can be submitted at the meeting. Comments can also be mailed to the LA DOTD address shown below, postmarked by August 21, 2017.
