Lafayette Parish – LA 176 (Moss Street) - Lane Closures

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, July 10 until Friday, July 14, the northbound inside lane of LA 176 (Moss Street) will be closed for waterline relocation.
The closure is estimated to take place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.., weather permitting.
There are no restrictions for permit loads.
The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge. The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to La 328 (Breaux Bridge).
The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in fall 2019.
DOTD apologizes for any inconvenience to the traveling public and encourages motorists to lookout for crews and their equipment.
