UPDATE:
LA 46 at the Bayou La Loutre Bridge (Yscloskey Bridge) will remain closed to all marine traffic thru August 10th while crews perform sand blasting and painting operations on the bridge. The full vehicular closures on Monday July 17th thru Thursday July 20th evenings from 7 PM – 5 AM have been canceled. The contractor has modified his operations and one lane will be open at all times.
There are no available alternate routes for vehicular traffic. Government offices have made arrangements to provide emergency response services during the closure.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
