LA 378 (SAMPSON ST) NIGHTLY LANE CLOSURE – LAKE CHARLES – CALCASIEU PARISH
The right southbound lane of LA 378 (Sampson Street) near the Kansas City Railroad crossing will be closed nightly beginning Wednesday, July 5, 2017 through Friday, July 7, 2017 from 9:00 PM until 4:30 AM.
All lanes (northbound and southbound) of LA 378 (Sampson Street) from LA 379 (Sulphur Avenue) to I-10 North Service Road will be closed Thursday night, July 6, 2017, from 9:00 PM until 4:30 AM, to transport materials to the work site. Motorists will be detoured around the closed portion of LA 378 (Sampson Street) using LA 379 (Miller Avenue) and I-10 South Service Road.
The closures are necessary for the utility contractor to perform work at the railroad crossing.
