*UPDATE: RESCHEDULING*
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that the work set to begin on LA 1 on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that LA 1 will be closed to thru traffic from 6:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 to 6:00A.M. Friday, July 7, 2017 to accommodate drainage work 4.3 miles north of LA 498.
Permit/Detour Section
Northbound traffic detour will be from LA 1 to right on Rapides Station Rod to left on I-49 North to Exit 98. Southbound traffic detour will be from LA 1 to I-49 South to Exit 94 to right on Rapides Station Road. Northbound I-49 Welcome Center traffic detour Exit 98. Southbound I-49 Welcome Center traffic detour Exit 99.
