UPDATE *RESCHEDULING*
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that the work scheduled for LA 112, Forest Hill, Rapides Parish, for June 15-17, 2017, has been rescheduled for a later date. We will advise the public of this date as soon as it has been determined.

LA 112 Forest Hill; Rapides Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 112, Forest Hill, Rapides Parish, will be closed at the Union Pacific Railroad track. The work is being done at milepost 71.527 and is on control section 073-03.
There are three scheduled days of closures, June 15-17, 2017. The closures will start on Thursday, June 15, 2017, from 6:00 AM with a re-opening to traffic at 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 15, 2017. The other closures will be the following days: Friday, June 16, 2017 and Saturday, June 17, 2017, with closures starting at 6:00 AM and re-openings at 6:00 PM. The closure is for Union Pacific Railroad to replace the cross ties thru the crossing.
Permit/Detour Section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time.
Detour Route:
The detour will be LA 112 East to I-49 north to LA 3265 South to US 165 South to LA 112 East.
The detour can accept oversized loads. The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public.
All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
