Traffic slowdown: I-220 Eastbound and Westbound, Caddo Parish, S.P. H.011111

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, vehicles traveling both Eastbound and Westbound on I-220 will experience a slowing of traffic at mile marker 6 in Caddo Parish.

The purpose of this event is to allow the transport of bridge segments across both lanes of the interstate at this location. This transport is related to the I-49 Segment K project currently under construction.

The traffic event will start at 9:00 p.m. each night and continue until 5:00 a.m., with intermittent episodes throughout the night.

These crossings will occur every night for several months.

This work will be performed WEATHER AND WIND PERMITTING.
