LA 8 Bentley; Grant Parish
Mile Post 90.822; Control Section 040-02

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 8, Bentley, Grant Parish, will be closed at the Watco Railroad Track. The work is being done at milepost 90.822 and is on control section 040-20. The closure will be Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 7:30 AM, with a reopening to traffic at 5:00 PM on Friday June 16, 2017. The closure is for Watco Railroad to replace the surface and ties thru the crossing.

Detour Route:
The detour will be LA 8 to US 167 North to LA 123 to US 165 South to LA 8.

Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time.

Detour Route:
The detour will be LA 8 to US 167 North to LA 123 to US 165 South to LA 8.

The detour can accept oversized loads. The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
