THIS CLOSURE HAS BEEN UPDATED. Beginning Friday, June 9, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. through Monday, June 12, 2017 at 6:30 a.m., the East Bound lane will be closed from the Mississippi River Bridge to the Atchafalaya Bridge. This closure is necessary for asphalt rehabilitation, weather permitting.
In addition, a section of I-10 Eastbound, beginning 2 miles East of LA 77, and ending at the junction with LA 77, will have the outer lane closed, along with the LA 77 off-ramp, for asphalt rehabilitation.
Permit load restrictions will be up to 16 feet wide, anything over please contact the permit office.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through construction sites and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
