LAFAYETTE, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that Rue Louis XIV at its intersection with LA 339 (Verot School Road), in Lafayette Parish, will be closed to traffic on Friday, May 19 at 6:00 a.m. until Monday, May 22 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

The closure is necessary to complete drainage work related to the ongoing widening of LA 339 (Verot School Road) project.

The detour route will include Kaliste Saloom Road and Camellia Boulevard. Detour signs will be posted.
