LA 46 at the Bayou La Loutre Bridge (Yscloskey Bridge) will be closed to all marine and vehicular traffic nightly from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM on the following nights: May 15th & 16th while crews perform balancing and testing of the lift span.
It is anticipated the work will be completed during the two nights. Should any delays be encountered the work will be completed the night of May 17th.
The bridge will be closed to all marine and vehicular traffic. There are no available alternate routes for vehicular traffic. Government offices have made arrangements to provide emergency response services during the closure.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
