LA 1123 (Des Cannes Highway) is NOW OPEN to traffic. Thank you for your patience while we monitored the flooded roadways.
IOTA, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that effective immediately LA 1123 (Des Cannes Highway), from Fernest Road to Roman Drive, in Acadia Parish, is closed due to high water.
The closure will be updated as soon as conditions improve.
The detour route includes LA 97 (Evangeline Highway).
DOTD reminds motorists to please drive with caution and use alternate routes to avoid this area.
